Karun has built 100+toilets, and has played a crucial role in providing books for 1200 children in Tiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu to create friendliness between a book and a child.
RJ Karun- the popular voice of Big FM 92.7 and hosts the show “tea kada bench”. He heads the NGO V trust, popular for its 100 toilets initiative in a village in Gumidipondi where there were zero toilets. The trust has also initiated “own a book” at Thiruvalluvar district in 66 schools. Karun has been active in social work for more than 10 years and aims to bring socially important issues to limelight by using Radio as a medium.
