Arvid Jense gives a musical performance with a variety of the experimental instruments created at the Sound Lab while Marie Caye narrates the back-story of the sometimes strange origins of these instruments.
Only a few hundred meters from the birth-grounds of Dutch electronic music, the Sound Lab Eindhoven is arising. It is a place to bring artists, technologists, designers, musicians and more together to amplify each others efforts.
Through this network we want to actively create synergistic collaborations between people working on sound projects. By bundling powers we can help each other in technology, promoting, funding, inspiration and whatever else comes out of this!
Arvid Jense (27) is an artist and designer. With a background in science, music production and interactive installations he looks searches for the borders of art and technology through electronic and physical designs. Where science is the analysis of objective facts, art is the analysis of human experience. In his work the user is put at the centre and the aim is always to leave a lasting impression.
