Rebecca’s seeds of purpose were planted early in life with the gift of a sister whose developmental and intellectual disabilities offered opportunities for global inclusivity. Inspired by a systemic shift in her sister’s life, Rebecca’s path toward innovative elder care was paved. Facing the need for radical workforce innovation in nursing homes, Rebecca is transferring success of implementing the first nursing “homes” in the nation with a versatile and universal workforce to the large urban high rise she leads.
Rebecca Priest has a Master’s Degree in Social work from the University of Buffalo and currently serves as Vice President of Skilled Services at St. John’s Nursing Home in Rochester, NY.
