Growing up with the challenge of legal blindness has led to insights about how far we still need to go to make the world more accessible to those with differences in sight, hearing or mobility. Pushing the boundaries of expectation and possibility leads to the discovery of new abilities and ideas about how to facilitate change.
Nola was born in China and adopted at fifteen months old. She is an aerial performer and instructor. When she is not studying or doing aerial arts, Nola enjoys spending time with her dogs, reading, and doing art projects. She hopes to pursue a career in architecture and design.
