Mario Garcia is a 26-year-old artist from Phoenix, Arizona. He started learning Arabic Calligraphy in 2009. To create his art, he takes the Arabic language and meditatively arranges it into unique shapes, patterns, and figures. Mario uses art to to explain the common ground that every human has, the parts of life we can all agree on.
His goal is to keep this ancient script alive and thriving, in a way that everyone can appreciate and connect to, even if they have no ties to the culture or language.
