The following video is the raw, unedited footage of Mo Farah’s press conference on Saturday 6 June 2015 in response to allegations made about his coach Alberto Salazar in BBC Panorama programme ‚Catch Me If You Can‘. The documentary, which aired Wednesday 3 June 2015, accuses Salazar of violating anti-doping rules. There is NO suggestion that Mo broke any rules. This footage focuses on the double Olympic medalist and double world champion throughout as he is questioned by journalists at the hastily arranged press conference ahead of a Birmingham Diamond League event. Also in attendance were Niels de Vos, chief executive of UK Athletics and performance director of UK Athletics Neil Black. I was there to interview athletics stars Allyson Felix and Christian Taylor from the US and Britain’s long jumper Greg Rutherford ahead of the Diamond League event. I’m a lifestyle sport storyteller but suddenly found myself in the unexpected position of being in the front row of the now news-focused press conference. My boyfriend happened to be with me so I set him up at the back of the room with a video camera to capture the press conferences and he opted to just set the camera up on Mo and let it roll, hence this footage.
