In this digital and ever speeding world, where we try to keep in contact with the dear ones by leveraging the technology, we often neglect the near ones. Mr. Bhaskar Rao IPS, Commissioner of Bengaluru City Police, talks about the importance of building a strong community of near ones. Bhaskar Rao is an Indian Police Service (IPS) Officer of 1990 batch borne on Karnataka Cadre. After his Basic Training at Lalbahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussorie and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad he was exposed to several field training in the militancy loaded district of Taran , Punjab, Poonch and Rajouri sector near the Radcliffe Line (Indo-Pak Border) for Army Attachment, Special Protection Group (SPG) which guards the Prime Minister and the Urban terrorism neutralizing agency, National Security Guard (NSG).
