Dispatches – Secret Teacher (2005)

Dispatches reporter Alex Dolan, a qualified science teacher, spent six months working as a member of staff in schools in London and Leeds. She secretly filmed the unruliness she was subjected to by pupils and teachers, divulging the tactics they use. In London, Ms Dolan was alone in classrooms where children openly flouted her authority – even to the extent that they are seen playing with fire extinguishers during lessons.
